Rie Harada
The research group I work for : Medical Practice/Welfare/Society Group
From FY2011 to FY2012, I worked at "Mutsukado Lab Atelier", which was established in a shopping district as a research and exchange center for revitalization of the central city area, to help store owners become local resources and support young entrepreneurs. In 2013, I left my job due to family relocation reasons. I returned to work in 2018 and have since been practically engaged in life history research on Minamata disease patients and those involved with them, as well as community revitalization issues. In my spare time, I enjoy tea.
I was a speaker at the talk session "How does MINAMATA live?" as a related program to "MINAMATA as seen by Eugene and Eileen Smith" organized by the Tsunagi Art Museum.
