We offer "visiting lectures on mercury" for elementary and junior high school pupils. As there are few venues in which "mercury" as a plain substance can be learned, our researcher will travel to elementary or junior high schools in person, taking advantage of the Center's location in Minamata and its engagement in comprehensive surveys and research of mercury and Minamata disease. By means of such visiting lectures, we work on drawing interest and attention and widely disseminating scientific knowledge about mercury to deliver correct knowledge regarding mercury.
