Mercury level measurement
through hair samples

Mercury level measurement through hair samples is available for visitors upon request.
If you wish to have the mercury level measured through your hair samples, please talk to our staff in the Administrative Office on the first floor.
We will have you leave your hair samples for mercury level measurement and fill out a question form in the Small Meeting Room. After your hair is sampled, its mercury level will be measured by the National Institute for Minamata Disease and you will be notified, likely in one to two months, of the results by postal mail.
