As the world's only research institution dedicated to Minamata disease and mercury research, we conduct a range of research and have made myriads of achievements. We have made public so-called "Akagi's method," a mercury analysis method that the National Institute for Minamata Disease developed independently, and showcase our research outcomes made in the past.
